Our legendary Whitetail deer hunts are offered in the early fall, and throughout the month of November to capitalize on the various phases of the rut.
A very popular hunt over the last several years is during mid to late September, we have had great success with some of the biggest trophies harvested at this time of year while catching these deer in a bedding feeding pattern. The bucks are not interested in does at this time; however we usually find the bucks running together in bachelor groups.
Hunting techniques include using enclosed field towers, ground blinds, tree stands, and spot and stalk. The success of your hunt greatly depends on your physical condition, and your shooting ability, common shots in this open country are 250+ yards.
Although there is no minimum, we expect our clients to have a trophy expectation of a 155″ B&C or better.” ~Mike White
Passing up on a beautiful buck because he is too young, is the greatest sign of a true trophy hunter.”
I never doubt that we have giant deer all around us, it is trying to get one in the short six days that you are here, is the true challenge.” ~Mike White
